I started Beardin’ Around in March of 2011. After a long and painful winter, I had decided that the coming summer was going to be my most epic summer yet. I plan to keep this promise to myself by documenting all the adventures I partake in, and all the events I witness throughout this most legendary of seasons.
My name is Andee. I am a student, a musician, and a very eager traveler. I grew up going to private schools here in Massachusetts. Though, I’m agnostic, I spent five of these years in Catholic schools. I graduated high school, and was accepted to UMASS Dartmouth (where I quickly dropped out of). After my short encounter with college, I proceeded to travel around the country. Since then, I’ve met hundreds of people from all over that have influenced my life for the better. Of course, even with all these positive role models still came some pretty horrible experiences. I’ve always said, though, that whatever bad comes in your life was supposed to happen right then and there. You take that bad experience, and you build from it. You learn.
I’m currently taking classes at a community college in hopes of attending Emerson College in Boston. I plan on studying Film Post Production and making a career out of it. I’ve been taking photos here and there since high school, but I never took it seriously. Well, honestly I still don’t. I’ll still prance around with my Canon and shoot as much as possible, but it’s all just in fun.
I love the simple things in life, and I think that in the right state of mind – everybody can see how beautiful the world is.
Please don’t hesitate to comment with suggestions on places to check out here in New England. I will surely oblige and take what photos/videos I can, and blog about my experiences.
